Watchmen

                        

Watching this film brought about an interest in the concept of inkblots. For my second proposal i wanted to work with a concept i had never worked with before. In this film one of the characters disquses was a mask that would change and morph to his emotions, creating an inkblot design. In the film the black fluids remained in constant motion, being affected by heat and pressure, however the black and white colours never combined to form gray. The patterns formed by the fluids also maintained a constant symmetrical pattern down the midline of whatever shape the fabric had been formed into.
